I agree with that strategy but don’t think Google has the social insightfulness to have made it work ...now I don’t think Facebook is grounded in social enough to pull that off again either though

Googles failure to effectively deploy social media innovations & platforms, despite being a/the dominant hub in global communication(email, search, ads) is utterly baffling to me. Future creatives have a goldmine of cosmic irony to mine. The epic ballad of Google's self defeat?

I think of it in terms of advertising technology paradigms. Search for profit worked for a while, then it missed out on social, which has worked...for a while What will it miss - pretty sure there’s a book we’re waiting on about “life after google”? And so too for FB, eventually

Glass tech was not there for adoption. It needs to record all day but have a buffer of the last x minutes like a dvr imo. Save any moment after it happens otherwise it’s gone.
