Yup he just blocked me too! I guess he's alergic to peer review... That's too bad because it's an interesting idea. If anyone following this thread can enlighten me please do. Not trying to *win* a debate. I'm only seeking truth.

I’m still not blocked...
@SoakerPatoshi can you unblock the others? They said they are very interested in your ideas and are only seeking truth. Same with me.2 replies 0 retweets 1 like -

I make the premise fiat will value stabilize with bitcoin. They respond: people will still value bitcoin more. They are saying IF bitcoin IS value stable versus fiat people will STILL value bitcoin more. That is an irrational assertion. Do you see why?

Yes I understand. Accepting that premise, what is your overarching point though? I’m still trying to understand that.

My point is that bitcoin will become the idea money, either through total dominance or as a stabilizing force, both described by Juice. Where we depart is that I think increased functionality beyond money is inevitable, and I'm not sure if his argument tolerates useful bitcoin

He seems to prefer it not be useful in the sense I'm talking, namely on chain computation. I understand that preference, but I don't think innovation can be stopped, especially if it doesn't require protocol change.

So I'm curious how his model/argument handles bitcoin being the international stabilizer as he describes, but then later emerging with greater utility.
