I’m always amazed when I see people using screens with no blue light filters. Macular degeneration is going to be a global issue in a decade.
Do you use them full time or just to adjust night time screen viewing? I've only used blue light filters to minimize alterness at late hours. Never seen any studies suggesting the strain was that taxing.

I have flux on all the time on my laptop. My phone has night shift on almost always and I have a stronger filter for night. I get a raging headache after about 20 mins with it off. No studies yet, but precautionary principle.

My wife’s mom has it from years in the Czech theater under UV lights. I did a deep dive a few years back. When you get into that end of the spectrum bad things happen.

I’ll also argue that you climatize quickly to blue LEDs. And like any other low level stressor your eyes are under constant “inflammation” which has long term effects.
