There certainly feels a notion of higher truth preceding said notions, especially regarding the very nature of symbolism and the means & merits by which we define it. Believe a better explanation is found in a realm less bounded by memetic obligations.

I think the brain starts to realize no singular word has any meaning, tries to propagate the knowledge system wide, realizes that would be catastrophic, and reverts itself back to a state when that word had meaning while you're not paying attention. Either way, it creeps me out.
