I wonder if user location (tracker chip implant) will ever be used as an authentication mechanism on its own: - uniquely identifies someone - is not a visible code that can be re-used by hackers (DNA, fingerprint, password) - fits into a cohesive narrative of prior location data
In a plausible future, I could see many opting into to location tracking additionally as a guaranteed alibi against false allegations and Deep Fake attacks.

That's a good point - reliable location data can be a source of value in high-risk situations like that, where information is missing or of questionable quality

Yeah we still don't know what things will look like culturally or from a legal standpoint when high quality fake evidence is scaled to near 0 production costs. Proving exactly where/what you did may become the best defense against allegations otherwise.
