I've done plenty of research. Down to hone into specifics and debate some merits. BTG was not the first chain to be hash attacked. Minority hashrate chains will be vulnerable to competitive forces. It's why ppl tend to trend towards alternates (PoS) or embrace btc maximalism.
Theres a multi billion $ bounty every ten minutes to break bitcoin.
At scale, attack vector costs more than actualized gains.
Costs appreciated by chains capacity to fork.
Being an honest miner is more profitable than stealing.
