    Check out the space ship that we built: here a sequential camera array with fluid filled optical adapters, there an approximate logarithmic microphone spiral, a computer array to store the incoming data away, a laser to measure particle stats, and a bunch of flashlight panels...

    Unfortunately I could not second this. Two and a half years ago, I co-developed an automotive sensor fusion thingy for both, RGB camera and radar. The video material included Chinese cities with (in comparison mildly) orange smog overcast sky... Here's privilege speaking:

    Nobody expected the noon sky to be deep orange when we designed the sensors and software that run your camera. So like everything else, computational photography too needs to adjust to a changing climate.
