Just another way @TeamYouTube makes it difficult to be a creator: We deliberately release videos at a particular time of day. YouTube says "nah" and randomly delivers notifications to subs, if at all. Doesn't reward smart creators who know their audience habits.

It seems
@TeamYouTube need to take a lead out of@Facebook's book: their live notification system is stellar. Works 100% of the time and allows the viewer to get reminders a set amount of time before a video goes live too. YouTube need to pull their act together.1 reply 0 retweets 11 likes -
I'm sorry, did you say works 100% of the time? I'm not familiar with this number.

Neither was I until I started watching
@Darkness429 streams and was joining them at the start... I was like "Oh, this is what the start of a stream looks like!"1 reply 0 retweets 8 likes -

Hey at least twitch DEFAULTS TO THE "SEND A NOTIFICATION WHEN THE STREAMER IS GOING LIVE" mode. None of this "click the bell" BS.

Because YouTube sucks and refuses to ignore feedback from Creators. Meanwhile, every other platform continues to iterate and improve.
