    Finally announcing that I've quit my job and will be working on Slippi full-time. Even in its current state, Slippi has provided a lot of value to Melee, but I believe that so much more can be done. Please help me support Melee by supporting Slippi → 🐸

    I sincerely apologize to the Mac and Linux users. We've had a lot of important issues come up that have slowed our work on it but it is very close.

    Windows release: Desktop app 1.5.0 Adds a seek bar to replays courtesy of and a whole lot more. Additionally fixes issues with rollback Pokemon Stadium desyncs and replays that paused themselves Mac/Linux netplay next

    Oh also. I'm aware that your replays on PS are desyncing because of transformations. They will all be properly watchable when we release the next desktop app version, which we are working on.

    Since there are a lot of people asking: Your replays have moved. The default is now Documents/Slippi, but you can configure it from the Dolphin UI

    For those who need it explained: not being complicit means calling people out when they do or say something that's wrong. This is especially true if the wrongdoer is your friend, they will be more likely to listen to you.

    It's an embarrassment to our community that so many of our own have hurt others that likely viewed it as their safe space. We need to be better as a community. Not being awful goes without saying but also please do not be complicit. We must become a safer, more welcoming place.

    We pushed hotfixes to some issues in 2.1.0. New replays will now play properly and the 30 second disconnect people were experiencing should be fixed.

    Fix for replays is now out, also some extra bugs are fixed. Replays from 2.1.0 will still have the pause issue, but new ones won't. A fix for the old replays will be added in the next Slippi Desktop App update. Thanks for your patience :)

    Additionally LRAS in game is sometimes taking people to the menu, this is not really a new bug but we will try to find a solution for this too.

    Another night of coding till 4am lol. So excited for the next Slippi release, so much effort from not just the team but tons of new contributors. I think everyone is going to be very happy with the quality of life updates and general bug fixes.

    Please don't ask when things will be ready. I can tell you what might be upcoming but costing is very hard. I will be working on what's most important until it's done. Additionally there's tons of smaller issues that are being fixed before being able to pursue the roadmap proper

    This homepage would have looked so much worse without Lil. I'm really thankful for all the help and support she gives me. She additionally has had input in a variety of UX decisions throughout the system. Slippi has definitely benefited from her help 🙂

    It's a drop in the ocean compared to actual rollback, but it's neat thinking about how many eyes have glimpsed the homepage design this week (between Twitter, Reddit, Kotaku, Engadget, PCGamer, Dot Esports).
