Nintendo should support melee scene? a game they don't even make money off of anymore? Yall straight up asking for charity at this point
By supporting the scene they draw more people's interest to the game and therefore their brand. Which in turn grows sales.
It's so frustrating Like, supplying prize pools or equipment would be AWESOME But the biggest thing, the easiest thing, they could do is simply help promote tournaments. Their marketing machine is massive and could easily start funneling 1000s more live attendees to majors
And people shouldn't harass/bug most of the Treehouse guys because they know this, and the decisions are from people above them. Which is why they at least have NintendoVS
