It's natural to want to know why someone ghosted you and well within your right to ask but it's also well within their right not to tell you and you have to be okay with them exercising their right not to say so just like you're okay with exercising your right to ask.

Then why do would we say "please" or "thank you" or engage in any form of politeness with other people? Do we always stop to consider whether another is "special" enough or "entitled" to kindness? Or to we offer it to all? What do we owe each other as members of a society?
