        I don't know what the plans for mobile are (note that @FirefoxNightly tracks platform and Desktop work only, not mobile specific work).         Finally. Hopefully will be in the main release soon. "dom.push.enabled" set to 'false' in about:config didn't seem to help. :/

        it's listed as "for Firefox 59" so that's currently nightly only, it'll be in the official beta as of January 22nd, with the main release of v59 scheduled for March 12th (see https://wiki.mozilla.org/RapidRelease/Calendar …).

        I know it's harder to implement but what about blocking any request as long as no interaction happens and only after that allowing those request, i.e. after clicking on a link that triggers the request? -> so no requests onload
