I don’t think of it as culturally monolithic at all. I’m with Wednesday when he talks about different countries united by the dollar. And define Old New England? Massachusetts?
@neilhimself I LOVE your meditations on America and American culture, but I a curious to what degree you see America as culturally monolithic. Have you ever spent any time in old New England?

You're right of course; "monolithic" was unfair. Nevertheless, AG seems to imply that the House on the Rock has a spiritual aesthetic that reflects the platonic vibe of America as a whole. (Is that fair?) As for "Old New England," I need more characters, but think colonial spook
