Should I include UPCOMING publications in a cover letter? Also would there be any point in including a RPG game publishing credit in a cover letter to a fiction magazine?
upcoming publications are legit. RPG credits are better than nothing, but not as good as SFWA recognized markets.

Include the 3 most prestigious publications,; upcoming is okay. RPG credit won't hurt you, but use it to bolster if those 3 are scanty or if the story is somehow related.
