Stumbled on a Facebook thread where a DM mentioned starting "a campaign of bards." On one hand I'm impressed at the DM's temerity, on the other, I'm filled with Dread.
This could be a great concept actually: all PCs are members of the same traveling acting troup that is also a band of thieves/charlatans/rogues-with-hearts of gold. And bards are flexible enough that they could all have different skill sets.
