A lot of people on the left have a blind spot for racial issues because they can afford to, and dismiss them as another neoliberal subplot when it in fact is not, but the co-option of the issue of race, like many others, doesn’t mean it’s not there.

We're not saying race issues aren't real. We have an issue with the extremely divisive and anti-egalitarian "woke" ideology itself. It distracts from more specific issues, alienates entire demographics and-- yes-- originated from within the establishment.

Racism doesn’t originate from the establishment. While I see some co-option that doesn’t not mean the issue at the core isn’t real. Most of what I see is the inability of white people to discuss race w/o getting offended, defensive & pushing what aboutisms, like “what about me?”
