You can just join a mass of other people all voting Green, Howie Hawkins, to establish it as the third major contender. Since so many are already it wont be as hard

I support 3rd parties like the Greens but many people don’t feel that election was valid so they’re not going to. Also my point is that third parties have 0 power because the system won’t allow them to, adding a new party isn’t going to change that if you don’t fix the system

It's anti-imperialist which is rare. RCV and Election Security should be the first priorities IMO of People's Party then focus on partyhood. They can do both but main push should be election reform ASAP. RCV + Anti-imperialist party is promising. Nothing else is for me yet

It also needs to be a working class movement. Can't build one side then try to integrate the other. It won't work. And a real working class movement,, IMO, can't happen in Dem Party or Republican Party. Or Green even just due to their "leftist" sense. A mixed mentality will win

There should be multiple parties bc people on the left aren’t going to compromise on racism and those willing to do that can have their own party

I don't think you have to compromise on racism. I think kif you could start movements focused on Police Brutality with BLM having a showing instead of being the focus it'd be easier. Know lots of working poor white abused by police and don't want to be told they are priveledged.

That’s the problem. They still are privileged because though they’re poor they don’t have to deal with racism. They can’t admit that and be an ally and that’s a problem. We can’t ignore racism and only focus on class. It has to be both. Both is what they’re afraid of.

1/ IMO trying to tell people they are priveledged because of their skin color despite having a long family history of living poor and abused by police / power because they are poor isn't going to work. It just isn't. While they don't have to deal with racism, they are still

Again no one is saying they’re not suffering class issues wise. But IMO telling Black people you’re not privileged because you’re poor ignores racism. You can be poor and racist. We all suffer economically under capitalism but people of color suffer both economically & racially.

I'm not saying racism isn't an issue but it shouldn't be the focus. Unite the working class to help everyone up and the racism / McCarthyism / absolute ignorance everywhere can start to decrease. People are angry and looking to assign blame. We need solutions first IMO.

See but it’s easy for it not to be the focus of you don’t have to deal with it. In order to get us to fight the oligarchy you have to get people on your side. You won’t get them on your wide if you don’t listen to why it’s important to them

I'm not saying don't listen. I'm saying make it inclusive. Don't try to make people marching with you take blame. We need to work together to move forward. This is only referencing those who think people need to verbally state their priveledge. It shouldn't be a litmus.

To me a "before we can advance and work together against these issues, I need you to take some blame / say you have priveledge". No, just march together against Police brutality and aim for a more perfect system for all and you'll see racism decrease
