Hey Vegan fams the two other fams who are vegan are feeling nauseous. I’ve been feeling great. They were heavy meat eaters unlike myself. Is there anything that could be causing this?

It could be some weird adjustment to fiber. Some tips, don’t have melons after eating grains/beans. If you’re having any sort of sweet fruit in the same meal as beans/lentils, have the fruit first (or have it in a separate meal).

Don’t listen to the comments about B12 and Iron, those won’t become an issue until later. All of you should take a B12 supplement tho. Generally, Iron is only something mensturating people really need to worry about. But aside from B12 and Vit D (if you don’t go into the Sun)

Hard disagree. Impossible is like fast food burgers. Ok, but Beyond is way better.

They could eat some more ginger and spices, these things get the digestive juices going. Or digestive enzymes in pill form. Smoke some weed will help. Why y’all don’t eat ethically sourced meat, fish and eggs?

Beyond burger can get me sometimes. Protein shakes too. 1-shake is my limit, or else nausea and bloating.

I haven't found a way personally without getting sick. Chili's bean burger specifically and Impossible burger/sausage come close. Soy stuff wasn't working. I've heard great results with seitan-based alts when I was scouring the other day. Haven't tried yet

Too much protein converts to sugars eventually. Try a good mix of protein with some fat too. It also helped this second time by scaling my diet back before I started. I eat maybe the equivalent of 2 standard meals a day at most.
