Karen Karen Karen Karen Karen. Is not a racist term. Know how I know? Bc (God I can’t believe we have to explain this) white people cannot experience racism. They may experience discrimination, poverty & hardship. But a race that is the opressor cannot experience racism.

White people can experience racism. To say otherwise is just absurd. You're talking about systemic racism of an oppressive system that white people in the US can't experience. White people very much can have people be racist against them though. Saying otherwise is just nonsense.

I understand why you're saying this. There has been a concerted effort in recent years to requantify what the term racism means but it's disingenuous, subversive, and divisive. Redefining a term to exclude people you don't want included is exactly what racism is, and it's racist.

How have you as a white person experienced systemic racism? To where you’ve been targeted by police. To where you can’t get a loan or a job based on your name. Where you grow up in certain neighborhoods and experience racism on the daily? I’d love to know.
