As much as I support BLM this is not the way to do it. People already know and they have places to be.

Disagree. This is THE way to do it. They weren’t there long and made their point. People need to be uncomfortable to care.

Preventing them from getting to places they need to go (Which could be very important) only sours their view of the BLM movement and it's very illegal. They're aware, and If they didn't already support it they're not going to start just because people trapped them into traffic.

Know your limits and be conscious of how these actions are effecting the public's view of these protests. It's the same issue with vandalists and looters, which I know some people are actually in favor of. It's not helpful and all it's doing is giving fuel to negative publicity.
