Story time: I used to get sick ALL the time, mostly horrible coughs. I developed pneumonia & asthma. One time I went to the doctor & they gave me a cocktail of azithromycin, hydroxychloroquine, & an inhaler. I haven’t gotten sick like that since. I haven’t got the flu either.

It worked for me. I didn’t seek it. I was given it. I don’t get sick anymore. That doesn’t mean it’s a general thing. I’m not a doctor. But what I do know is mistrust in big pharma is ok. It’s logical. We are as progressives distrusting of it. So why are vaccines an exception?

This is abstract. Of course big pharma are evil but that doesn’t mean they just sell bleach as a panacea. And some doubt is just dangerously irrational. It requires some actual research and concrete specifics.

What is the history of vaccines? Those who oppose it? From what I’ve seen there’s a lot of dangerous, conspiracy backed quackery.

The weird thing with vaccines is that even when someone just raises a tiny bit of doubt people get very angry with them and call them idiots who want everyone tp die of small pox.
