When this pandemic is over remember who saved humanity. It wasn’t billionaires, corporations, celebrities, or politicians, but nurses, doctors, teachers, grocery store workers, janitors, and drug store employees-i.e, the working class.

What we needed was a leader to explain to the American people how the CARES Act is poison. Not in general terms (eg this is a giveaway to the rich), but detailed explanations on how it would destroy the fabric of society.

Like the Crime Bill, society's panic is being exploited to pass legislation that will irreparably harm millions of the most vulnerable ppl. Entrench cycles of poverty, suffering & death. Every politician that voted for it, committed unfathomable moral evil. No excuses.

I don’t think this is equitable to the crime bill. But whatevs. I think we can yell at them all day long but until we do something it’s pointless. Especially when they’re allies working within the system. It doesn’t work. We have to go outside of it.
