Here's the thing at the end of the day the book says what the book says. There are literally pictures. And as it is written in the pollworker training guide, pollworkers are very likely to do exactly as it says: give provisional ballots to those without ID.

That is exactly right. The fact you have poll workers believing that is what they are to do is the point and it’s exceedingly problematic. Not sure how that isn’t obvious.

Until I see entire manual or take training myself, I will not comment further.

Well maybe if a poll worker trusted you enough to give you this information then you might get that info. But I’m not here to prove anything to you. It’s all there. Enjoy living in denial.

The more I think about this, the more it upsets me. This is poor-shaming, whether you mean it to be or not. I respect the journalism you do but I'm having a really hard time respecting you as a person right now.

Fi identified herself as poor and framed my gift as charity. I gave her those clothes as a personal friend. Ironically I had been planning to sell them and donate the proceeds to Shower of Hope, my friend's non profit that provides mobile showers. THAT would have been charity.

There's so much...I...I don't even know where to start, here. Too much to break down so I'll just say that it doesn't matter what she called herself. It isn't okay to out a struggling person without their permission just to publicly give yourself some percieved moral high ground.

Not true btw. I didn’t take anything. Lauren needed to get rid of stuff bc she’s moving & she mentioned it several times. I finally went over there (after an event) & she gave me stuff not worth 5000k most of it is in a bag I’ll undoubtedly give back since she cares so much

OMG. That is not why I gave them to you. I told you I was going to have a yard sale. And by the word took, I meant accepted. Don't be disingenuous. And I think I know what I paid for that stuff in at least seven bags not a bag. What is wrong with you? This is a personal betrayal!
