111+82+47=240 111÷240=46% 82÷240=35% 47÷240=20% 46%*6=2.76 35%*6=2.1 20%*6=1.2 Rounding should be 3, 2, 1

the delegate math is based on who has the highest remainder, but there is no way this isn't supposed to be 3/2/1

bernie's remainder .76 is higher than pete's .2 so Bernie should have definitely gotten the sixth delegate. and also, the remainder has to be .5 or higher to qualify at all for an extra delegate. see this document:https://docs.google.com/document/d/1eqzjQGYBaypVI811heyC5gjkM7g46arTFpqBu0KjHCo/edit#heading=h.9plcovkjb7c7 …

okay, more info came in and it looks like 2/2/2 is correct. pete barely got it by .03 just a really lucky delegate split for him.https://twitter.com/shawnsebastian/status/1224549120779653120 …

Shawn Sebastian 🐺Compte certifié @shawnsebastianSo the formula to apportion delegates is the total numbers after 2nd alignment x (the total number of delegates) / (the total of people at the caucus). So these 2nd alignment numbers x 6 / 285 Sanders: 2.44 Warren: 1.72 Buttigieg: 1.53 That rounds out to two delegates each. pic.twitter.com/00QkeQ9nS1Afficher cette discussion10 réponses 18 Retweets 110 j'aime -

If it’s based on rounding, then why did
@Fiorella_im precinct flip a coin. Are the rounding it when it benefits them and flipping a coin when it round doesn’t benefit them. Please file a complaint.3 réponses 0 Retweet 18 j'aime
There was no tie. Bernie Sanders had 101 votes to Buttigieg’s 66. That was the 5-3 but somehow for no reason they decided to do a coin toss. And make it a tie at 4-4.

if the precinct calculated state delegates wrong, it should be something that can be challenged and fixed, since they are also reporting the raw 2nd alignment numbers.
