I’m a huge @TulsiGabbard fan, but she is treading on dangerous ground. The implication here is that Iran has nuclear weapons ambition. If you buy into this fallacy, you empower those who will use this as a justification for war. Fortunately Iran doesn’t agree with you. Attempting to acquire nuclear weapons would be national suicide, simply because neither Israel nor the US would permit it—and it would be detected early on. Iran knows this, which is why a Fatwa was issued by the Supreme Leader.

However, Scott, wouldn’t you agree having nuclear weapons deters US meddling (a la NK)? I don’t see NK generals assassinated by lawless air strikes. Iran may not want’em but if I were an Iranian I would consign myself to the painful fact it would be the only thing deterring US.

It's like "Gun Control" in the US, in Ca. where I reside. Meaning, if Cops have Guns, aka, Govt. then citizens should also have guns. If the country, aka, Cops were to not be able to carry guns/weapons, then okay, let's talk. What is good for goose, should be good for the gander.
