Yang not only doesn’t support #MedicareForAll which is a TYPE of single payer system, he doesn’t support single payer. What he does support is something in the mix of the ACA & a public option. If he were more honest, it wouldn’t be as cringe.pic.twitter.com/DTTzn3omnk

Yang is for the Aussie/Japan model of extending universal healthcare to all Americans. He does support single payer, just not the way your indoctrinated to believe is the only way possible to achieve it. It doesn’t require eliminating private insurance in 4 yrs.

single-payer by definition means 1 payer. If you have more than 1 payer it is not a single-payer system.

Bernie=single payer by eliminating private insurers in 4 yrs. Yang=achieve single payer while allowing for additional pvt coverage by driving private insurers out organically by providing an essentially free alternative. Even Bernie argued this is better than status quo.

Bernie ain't eliminating private insurance in his 2019 Bill... it's literally only prohibiting "duplicative coverage" to whatever M4A will cover before it goes into effect, rendering it solely "supplemental". Literally no plan in the US will "eliminate" private insurance

This is true. At least not literally. There will still be some existence for it but not for main health coverage only supplemental. What he is eliminating is their power at making legislative decisions.
