At the event with Pramila Jayapal she just confirmed private insurance will have a role in our healthcare even with EVERY #MedicareForAll plan. Simply it will be ENTIRELY minimized and depleted one. The question has been answered. Her preference is for it to be mostly powerless.

I admit I need to do more of my own research into this ... I see alot of Bernie supporters say how his is the only plan that has "this or that" ...it gets confusing with Mis-info out there ... as Tulsi supporter, I need to find out what she ACTUALLY stands for .. 1/2

perhaps I do agree with say
@BernieSanders 's or@PramilaJayapal 's plan more ... maybe they are not as different (all three) as some make it out to be ... maybe it is ... I just admit I need to do more research on the subject 2/21 réponse 0 Retweet 1 j'aime -
The difference is the extent of private option. She’s advocating that existence as more than supplemental IF* they choose to keep their plan. They are only pushing supplemental. Both have roles for private insurance. Both exist in the world. IMO (haven’t seen Gabbards full)...

we must minimize the role of private insurance as much as possible. I think allowing duplicative coverage can lead to issues down the road. I advocate strongly for only supplemental coverage but understand there’s ways nations are doing it with a private option as well.
