This scenario/context is difficult to assess. He didn’t say yes or no & PR-wise he’s urged not to give answers to something obviously not laid out but as supporters we should urge him to. He should give an answer already bc most progressives support #Assange & see his importance.https://twitter.com/DackRouleau/status/1179623560161189888 … – à Los Angeles Buddhist Temple
Who said anything about him not being honest? The fact is he is being criticized for this so it’s good for us to listen. He should have a response & his responses regarding whistle blowers vary, but the way this was approached wasn’t the best approach. I don’t guilt him for this.

Lying by omission is still lying. Not being able to speak openly and candidly about your stance on an issue is definitely being shady. And if he needs to talk to his campaign before figuring out what to say then he is just as much a politician as the rest of the establishment.

Yang has said things people don’t agree with. Sometimes he even makes changes to his policies as he learns first-hand from people. He’s even updated his Freedom Dividend and gun safety plans. It’s ok to say the wrong thing, as long as he’s being honest and listening to the ppl.
