But it’s not false, in actuality. Bernie’s plan phases out private ins over a specified period and allows insurance companies to continue to provide plans that do not duplicate services provided by Medicare For All.

Since
#M4A would be comprehensive, it eliminates the ability for private insurance to offer anything remotely in the realm of actual healthcare. I did hear Bernie might’ve altered his plan slightly with union input, but I haven’t seen a revised bill.2 réponses 0 Retweet 0 j'aime -

Bernie is against duplicative coverage. Bc medicare for all is to provide everything except a few premium things. Which still includes private options

But what “premium” things when Medicare for All covers everything...literally. Aside from elective procedures which private insurance doesn’t even cover today. But to equate even that with Tulsi’s stance on healthcare. There’s not much of a correlation.

It’s all similar UNTIL you get to the specifics. Hers allows for private options period. Everyone pays into it but if you want something else’s which hasn’t been stretched out, or you wanna keep your healthcare you can. Whereas Bernie says eveyone will eventually just have one.
