Weird. Tulsi Gabbard appears to officially no longer support medicare-for-all, instead saying she supports 'Medicare Choice'. Her plan is similar to a public option that would neuter medicare-for-all while keeping power in the hands of insurance companies.https://twitter.com/atmosphericblue/status/1177041516688052226 …

To me, that's a deal-breaker. Now I'm down to only one choice, and have no preference for VP.

Yes, she is as passionate as
@BernieSanders . My point is that@TulsiGabbard just lost me with what@daviddoel posted. I still hope she gets a shot at@ewarren at the debate though.5 réponses 1 Retweet 45 j'aime -

One idiot posts a video and you cancel a candidate without hearing counter arguments? No wonder Trump won.

1) I don't think
@daviddoel is an idiot 2) Tulsi was a favorite of mine since 2016, guts and grace 3) Trump didn't win because of me. 4) I want this country to change how it does things. That means (among other things) healthcare being a right, not a commodity.1 réponse 3 Retweets 47 j'aime -

1) Disagree 2) Agree 3) Trump won bc people on the left got reactionary instead of thinking logically. They practiced outrage cancel culture of left versus right us vs them & the media propped him up & stole the primary from Bern 4) She did not say she doesn’t support

Medicare for all cannot survive with a public option! The private insurance company will do whatever it takes to destroy it

You’re correct. Not a public option. That’s not what’s happening here. It’s a private option. Either know what you’re talking about or don’t talk about it bc this issue is confusing too many people.

Does ‘private option’ allow you to opt out of Medicare or is it additional? The former is significantly counterproductive the latter is of no consequence.
