You can’t opt out though. So it’s still Medicare for all. Everyone is covered. She simply allows for people to pay double. I don’t agree w it but that’s the fact.

super dope to see a “socialist” defending private health care bc they can’t handle the realization that tulsi isn’t an ally
-
You can call me whatever you want you clearly haven’t read the bill

For duplicative care? Or for supplemental. Because what Tulsi is proposing now is parallel systems.

It’s still Medicare for all. Everyone pays in. Those who want something else pay extra.

It's about banning duplicative coverage. Are all y'all seriously going criticize Warren and Kamala, but not Tulsi?
-
If they were your see me criticizing her too with the same veracity. But it’s not.

All those countries that have universal coverage cover say 99% of people's healthcare needs. Private insurance is only for that 1% of things not covered that's called "supplemental coverage". It's really unclear what Tulsi's private option is supposed to cover; the 99%? or 1%?
-
If it's the 1% then it's the same as Bernie's. If it's the 99% then this could be a problem since single payer requires everyone pitches in for everyone. Unless.. as you say, the ones keeping their private insurance pays double; once one their income taxes and once through a bill
