Just wanna clarify: Bernie supporters r okay w/ Bernie offering a watered down easily corruptible version of Jayapal’s M4All bill But if Tulsi offers the same plan as Jayapal but makes sure that Unions/employees can negotiate better plans than M4All offers, she’s fraud? Lol

The moment that Bernie Sanders supporters decided that they were going to work with democrats in order to screw Tulsi and her supporters, I decided not to vote for him either, I submit that if they are willing to sabotage her, they are on their own. I will not reward contempt.pic.twitter.com/bkPToosA2P

What are u talking about that is not remotely a majority position on the Bernie side. Many of us still like her, I am one. But this isn’t right the bill allowing supplemental private insurance in the crevices is one thing but adding employer insurance?? That’s so unnecessary

Hey James it’s not fair to group us all. Most of us like Tulsi. It’s the ones who use Bernienfir clout that don’t and they’re loud here in twitter. Again giving into this divide hurts both. I don’t really have an issue with Tulsi’s healthcare plan either.

The idea that "union health plans" (which are private insurance, dependent on union contracts and paid for by unions) would be better than universal health care is a moronic centrist talking point. Tulsi isn't progressive. I knew she wasn't. Nither is Niko, but I knew that too.

My Tricare is technically paid for by private insurance. But private underwriters don’t negotiate costs, the government does. This is the key to keeping costs low in a single payer system. I’m covered 100% because of this. In M4All, Private insurance is allowed but CANT negotiate

But that type of understanding would require u to read a policy or get off ur couch so I understand how it might have flown over ur head.

#MedicareForAll the whole point is to establish a monopsony in which there is only one payer and the government can set the price. Other payers negotiating the price kills the monopsony. So why are you gaslighting?4 réponses 3 Retweets 20 j'aime
No one would be negotiating anything. Tulsi’s plan more so is directed at unions. It’s not entirely a centrist talking point. Centrists generalize it and say “what if I want to keep my insurance”. Tulsi is saying you pay for it period. But everyone ALREADY PAYS into m4all anyway.

"Negotiate" was Niko's word. Not mine. I just cut and paste what he said. You want to argue it, you argue it with him. Tulsi is making a statement that is only necessary if she accepts the centrist talking point as valid.
