Weird. Tulsi Gabbard appears to officially no longer support medicare-for-all, instead saying she supports 'Medicare Choice'. Her plan is similar to a public option that would neuter medicare-for-all while keeping power in the hands of insurance companies.https://twitter.com/atmosphericblue/status/1177041516688052226 …

I would nationalize healthcare & make it so it’s automatically included for citizens. Anything more than coverage (vison, dental, meds, elderly care, dentist) is supplemental procedures. I don’t agree w Tulsi bc I want to nationalize it so employer coverage is irrelevant

We are the only industrialized nation not to provide healthcare as a right. It's way overdue, Insurance companies need to go.

I don’t think anyone disagrees w you. But again canceling a candidate based on one interview without understanding context is tantrum like. She’s not my candidate. But she’s my second choice & one interview won’t change that. This cancel culture outrage is problematic. No nuance.

I think she certainly needs to clarify but the comparisons to Warren are crazy. 1) She’s not taking the money 2) she has Jayapals bill which is similar but different than Sanders. Again I’m Sanders for his domestic policies one of them being
#MedicareForAll. But she’s not him.

I want to keep supporting Tulsi, I really do—I just don't think I can carry this torch if Bernie gets better on foreign policy & Tulsi keeps throwing progressive policy under the bus to court a neo-libertarian niche market. It hurts to say this; I've been with her from day one.

She supports it by changing her language and saying public option. Or maybe you just don't want to admit she's not that great because you've hitched yourself to this wagon and it's now you're entire identity =)

I think you mean 'your' there. M4A is Medicare. For All. With that, and the expansion of benefits from the new bill, there's no need for private insurance.
