to relate to the working people. You then become focused on creating more profits, becoming a conglomerate & essentially an all too powerful corporation. You acquire such power that you influence government, politicians, the environment, and entire industries.

The reality is no one person should become so powerful they can buy people or become an entity of a controlling corporation that knows no bounds. That’s what capitalism by itself allows. That’s why I don’t believe in it. It pushes greed & materialistic thought over community.

I disagree with you, but I will not unfollow. It is good to have differences of opinion. However, where we may agree is that the government should serve as proper counterbalance.

I don’t think the gov should serve as counter balance. But what Sanders is doing is a way to shift to where I believe we need to go. I’m an advocate for more decentralization. I would change our government to a more co-op type where the people make a decision through council.

No one “earns” a billion dollars. Billionaires are created by siphoning off the wealth created by workers, who struggle to afford basic needs. The system entails that the workers will never be paid what they’re worth, because they don’t own their labor - the billionaire does.
