Thought we knew this but @TulsiGabbard didn’t vote for the Military budget (NDAA.) That was voted on months ago. She voted for parts of the appropriations bill that included the Stop Arming Terrorist Act & vet aid. If we’re going to make general claims make sure they’re correct.

TG voted for 19/29 military spending bills in the past six years, and she has only a 51 percent Peace Action voting record. Many were votes to fully fund controversial new weapons systems. She still believes in a militarized approach to counterterrorism.https://portside.org/2019-04-04/heres-how-2020-candidates-stack-war-and-peace …

I’d have to check that but I never claimed she voted peacefully since day one. Her votes have changed after the war & after her experience. I don’t think anyone claimed she’s been a perfect but she’s young & was young when she began. She also didn’t shift her position only to run

Her votes haven't changed on defense spending. She voted aye to 6157 which authorized the defense budget for FY 2019. She was in Iraq in 2004. She's been in Congress since 2013. In that time she voted for 19/29 defense spending bills. Bernie voted for 3 in the same 6 years.

You can’t equate entire defense budgets to parts of appropriations. That’s what you’re doing to make your point. You’re spreading disinformation.
