Thought we knew this but @TulsiGabbard didn’t vote for the Military budget (NDAA.) That was voted on months ago. She voted for parts of the appropriations bill that included the Stop Arming Terrorist Act & vet aid. If we’re going to make general claims make sure they’re correct.

TG voted for 19/29 military spending bills in the past six years, and she has only a 51 percent Peace Action voting record. Many were votes to fully fund controversial new weapons systems. She still believes in a militarized approach to counterterrorism.https://portside.org/2019-04-04/heres-how-2020-candidates-stack-war-and-peace …

I’d have to check that but I never claimed she voted peacefully since day one. Her votes have changed after the war & after her experience. I don’t think anyone claimed she’s been a perfect but she’s young & was young when she began. She also didn’t shift her position only to run

Bernie is advocating a defense cut. He did not vote yea for the Senate version of HR 6157 (S. 3159), but Gabbard did. https://votesmart.org/bill/25215/64284/27110/department-of-defense-and-labor-health-and-human-services-and-education-appropriations-act-2019#.XUqWSbdMGdM …https://www.govtrack.us/congress/bills/115/s3159 …

Did you just not listen to anything that was said to you? You shoudknt be talking about legislation if you’re not able to understand how it works. Voting for the defense budget isn’t voting for parts of the bill that have progressive additions in them.
