The USGS said after the last one that they didn’t think it was over and that they expected much stronger earthquakes to follow. Sadly they were right.

I would not put too much effort into warning about the relationship between climate change and earthquakes. There are other more serious effects that climate change is having on people that we can do things to mitigate.

CA is basically guaranteed to have a huge earthquake at some point. If we lose all the ice on Antarctica that could cause some earthquakes as plates, etc 'resettle' along with their basic motion.

Thank you for clarifying. I thought you were talking about the succession of them in the aftermath of the first one. You’re absolutely correct. Here in Arkansas we didn’t have any until the last 15 years or so. They always occur in areas where they are/have been fracking.
