Actually she's 100% correct that NPP's were issued in the to new registrants, that they were deliberately not counted, and that a bejeezus of ballots weren't counted after the AP called the state before the Primary even *started. But hey totally normal:https://www.commondreams.org/news/2016/06/10/after-frustrating-primary-millions-ballots-california-remain-uncounted …

Actually, she's not correct: cross-party ballots were not provisional ballots, and provisional ballots were counted. It just took more than three days because LA is more populous than most STATES. And the Jungle Primary came in 2018.

Provisional ballots don't usually get counted unless the margin is slim enough to demand they do

Sigh. from your own source. Also, this is the uninformed bullshit that Berners thrive on. The votes were counted. She won. Easily. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-politics/wp/2016/07/07/one-month-later-california-finishes-its-vote-count-and-clinton-wins/?noredirect=on&utm_term=.e6975893649b …pic.twitter.com/JwayKGLt44

Lol I'm just gonna say it one more time and highlighting random sentences that just make claims won't make it any different: provisional ballots don't get counted unless it's a small margin. Ergo if late registrants are forced to vote w provisional, final total is inaccurate.

Now it's very possible all provisionals *were counted. But I've never seen any total that makes a point to note they were. It would be more in line w traditional elections that they weren't .

I mean he still totally lost, by a goodly amount. Quit spreading falsehoods because it feels true to you.

Ma'am I ain't spreading falsehoods, I'm simply stating what usually happens with provisional ballots. And again, this article is my point: when the margin is small (as in Sonoma) they get counted. But-

you get how then it's easy to dodge a slim margin in larger counties by only making NPP's available? This is why in my opinion primaries should do away with provisionals altogether. Especially when you're leaving them as the only choice to people who *already registered as Dems

NPP ballots were not provisional ballots, provisional ballots are counted, provisional ballot options have been used in California since 1984 and are required by federal law, and the Jungle Primary makes party registration irrelevant. This is all public fucking record.
