Capitalism is by definition a system made for profit. Its basis is competition for resources. In order for one to succeed another must fail. It creates the extremities of billionaires & homeless citizens. There can’t be compassion or collectivism in this system. It doesn’t work.

Capitalism may have assisted advancements in technology/medicine through the years, but has greed taken it to a point where certain industries are plateauing? With things like planned obsolescence, is the very system that brought us forward seemingly holding us back?

It will always hold us back because only a few can receive the benefits when the resources are too scarce to keep up with the greed. The competition isn’t fair. The market isn’t free. We need the people, the 99%, to seize the means of production rather than a few elites.
