I'm really surprised that we don't have more entries for this, but with entry count so low, your chances of winning are really high! Amazing game, amazing soundtrack, and you can't buy this vinyl anywhere.

Seeing everyone at super excited for next week's reveal has me super excited for next week's reveal. I mean, I was already, but yeah. Really amped up now.

I visited Infinity Ward last week to get a look at exactly how the team there plans to redefine Call of Duty with this year's Modern Warfare game. I came away thoroughly impressed. This could be the best Call of Duty game we've had in years.

I imagine the title "Strand Game" didn't sit too well with focus test groups. 😜

It's the gameplay embodiment of Twitter. We have to "plug in" to see the other side. Connecting isolated communities together, but invisible dangers lurk everywhere, but it's also necessary for the future. Kojima gamified Twitter.

Omg, how did I forget Rock Band and Guitar Hero? Those are certainly in there somewhere. I play a lot of games a lot.

    1. Destiny 2 2. Destiny 1 3. Final Fantasy X 4. Final Fantasy VII 5. Kingdom Hearts (Maybe a Metal Gear Solid game though) The first two are for sure, but the last three (four, lol) are best guesses based on memory.

The next step in this progression is to limit the amount of overtime that is allowed. Passion is good. Sometimes extra hours are needed. But you don't want that to come at the expense of burnout for the work addicted and those who get unfairly compared to them. 9/9

We need to take care of the mental health of each other, and part of that is not only saying that it's okay to go home on time each day, but actually mandating that employees step away from their desks, live a home life away from work. 8/

Because sometimes it takes that outside force to break you of a work addiction, to tell you that it's okay to step away briefly, come back refreshed and with renewed energy. It's a fine line between passion and a neurotic need to be "always on." 7/

I'm glad that we've moved away from grinding employees to the bone to "no mandatory crunch." That's good progression. But we can do better. At some point, companies need to tell employees to go home. 6/

It also creates problematic expectations of the people around you. Because someone just working a normal 8 hour work day is comparatively seen as lesser than the person who puts in more than that. It might not be intended that way, but that's how it comes across. 5/

Gaming addiction? Try work addiction. I feel uncomfortable if my laptop or phone is ever more than three feet away from me. I feel like I'm missing something. There's always more I could be doing, right? If I'm not working, I'm not passionate enough about what I do. 4/

I'd always heard that if you love what you do, you won't work a day in your life, but that's not true. If you really love what you do, you work every damn moment of your life, and it's hard to turn it off. 3/
