The density of state and federal law on selling securities makes it virtually impossible to raise capital without actually ignoring those laws. Meanwhile, lotteries legally fool people into paying real money for a nearly useless purchase.

My Ford stock has been way up and way down, so much so that I fear trying to invest in other stocks, which I've done successfully on a teeny initial amount of $4000. I collect a nice dividend from Ford but the stock hasn't moved. I fear the market. That's why I sit on it.

You can literally go online and trade in your pajamas at very little cost. How are people being prevented from investing in our economy? You must mean you can't get at our money to steal it.

I really have my doubts it’s small investors you’re concerned about. They always get wiped out by your best contributors. If the market are a lottery, you’re letting ppl play who fix the drawing and helping them get away with it afterwards.

How can we take the Financial Services Cmte seriously when
@RepAlexMooney sits on it? He defaulted on his mortgage, almost lost his house in foreclosure, had to sell his home in a Short Sale (to longtime campaign donors) & caused 2 banks to take losses on their loans. Seriously? - 1 more reply
