I wouldn't call Elsie humane, the show even makes a lot of points that her character is not.

I guess humane isn’t quite the right word, but she’s the only human who’s not drowning in vague alterior motives and speaking in riddles, and I don’t think that her saving Bernard was strictly pragmatic - she still likes him and empathizes with him finding out he’s a host

Basically, She and Felix (and young William) are the only people I don’t think are strictly narcissistic or evil.

Or, rather, Elsie and Felix might be the only people who’ve become *better* people in/because of Westworld instead of becoming reduced to narcissistic and evil little snits, and I totes think the show needs more of that to offset?
