It's the 10th anniversary of "Speed Racer." You're dang right I wrote a piece about it. It is high time to change the national conversation on the Wachowski's masterpiece.http://observer.com/2018/05/looking-back-at-the-wachowskis-2008-masterpiece-speed-racer/ …

      Why, what did he/I say?

He called it a masterpiece. The William Gibson meets Akira meets Le Mans version I was developing for Warner Bros., a few years earlier, with Brandon Lee in talks to play Speed, would have been so much better.

Is it truth that Brandon Lee was going to play Speed? Did you ever met Brandon? I am a big fan from Spain.

I DID meet with Brandon, not long before he died. He and I absolutely saw the same version of Speed Racer.

I can't argue with hypothetical woulda coulda shouldas, especially the personal ones. What I can do is argue the beautiful, amazing merits of this particular film, however different it is, and what those differences have meant.

Hey... I meant no harm. I respect that you have love for the film. We all have films that mean a great deal to us. I created and developed Dragonheart, yet, hate the film that it became. So, I was really just exposing my sour grapes. If you love a film you SHOULD celebrate it!
