My dude. It’s that testing fate brings consequences. Prometheus was successful. Humanity was given fire. Things changed. It cost Prometheus dearly, permanently.

Bang on, to wit: The Wire 100% used the model of greek drama, but there was constant changes, both good and bad within individual stories, along with showing the cost of challenging "the fates" (read: modern institutions).
