And 2. It's actually reflective of the fact that there are wayyyyyyyyyyyy more conservative super rich celebrities who you would think lean left but vote because they're rich and want to keep their money. Kanye's weirdly the only one being honest about it.

I keep seeing people fall into the Kanye trap, and I keep imagining him laughing. I take every public utterance from KW with a grain of salt because he’s always gotten a rise out of proving to himself and the world that he can give people what they want *and* disappoint them.

(Which coincides perfectly with the themes of his music and his performance. He imagines himself in the image of god, blurring lines with actually being one. And god has the power to both bless and to smite.)
