In the sense that if it doesn't have a problem or a puzzle or something to think about it'll just slowly implode... It's why I loved (heck, still like it) things like Magic the gathering.... all the time working that puzzle, probing the system, looking for possibilities

Probably just die at the end. I don't think there's any solution to the idea we must always think and that we are hard wired to fear and speculation. The distractions are there for the same reason art always was - a dance before the grave rather than a march. Chill out.

Can we be surprised that in a country that has determined all STEM all the time is a desirable educational directive, where any technological innovations are viewed as “solutions” on their merits...that our tech industries have no ethical barometers?

Your tweets are the only notifications that I allow to push to my phone. I've been thinking about this with YouTube videos and how it is made to never end and push similarly agreeable consumable videos. Which has led to most conservative voises to lead to the toxic trolls.
