Thread / Rant: So about that B.S. "Solo" rumor mongering. I care less about obvious-politicized gossip. I care more about one of the deeper issues: chiefly, "the myth of know-exactly-what-they-want director."
This isn't that Miller is "wrong," he's one of the great directors. It's just proof positive that production is part of the constant evolution of making choices and adapting to the situation at hand when the plan of storyboarding doesn't come through.

Or ask Del Toro, "storyboards are what we use if we can't come up with something better on the day." - The point of all of this is you're being almost laughably reductive and not listening to the core of what I'm talking about.

But by all means, continue you thinking you're one upping on me with the most basic possible filmmaking assumptions and that it makes me sad so you can feel a sense of superiority. You seem to need it or something.
