I watch a lot of food / cooking shows. I have a tough time with 80% of them, usually over intent and ethos. But Bourdain was always the gold standard. I just watched all of Ugly Delicious today. To say it is my favorite food show of all time is an understatement. Holy cow.

I watched one episode of Ugly Delicious and decided to just go watch Parts Unknown again instead.

What a shitty, assumptive thing to do.

I watched it. Didn't like it. Watched something else. It would be assumptive to assume that I would suddenly start liking it if I watched more episodes. Who has time to watch hours and hours of something in the hope that it's enjoyable? I gave it a fair shot and it didn't click.

I'm saying I flat out find it absurd that this show wouldn't click if you like parts unknown, given the only differences make me honestly feel fucking suspect, dude. Also the show gets much more political

Yeah, I am also scratching my head on how anyone who liked Parts Unknown wouldn’t like Ugly Delicious.

It just didn't click. I don't know. What do you want from me? I'm not you. I don't know how to write a 30,000 word essay about it. If I were a film critic rather than a random person on Twitter, would you call my actions "shitty" and say that they're "fucking suspect"?

Here, I'll do it as you actually: HULK NOT UNDERSTAND WHY SOMEONE LIKE PARTS UNKNOWN BUT NOT UGLY DELICIOUS. YOU DUMMY. YOU SHITTY FOR NOT LIKING SAME THING AS HULK. YOUR OPINION IS FUCKING SUSPECT BECAUSE YOU NO ARTICULATE REASONS. YOU MUST NOW KNOW WHAT YOU TALKING ABOUT.
