It’s a fictional action movie, not a socio-political manifesto. What the hell did you expect?

Ok. So then just say that. Criticizing a movie for not making a socio-political statement is ridiculous. Most people go to the movies to escape the everyday political bs we’re incessantly inundated with. If you didn’t enjoy it, fine but don’t complain it wasn’t political enough.

People go to the movies to escape / not think about it and then get fed subconsciously to adore guns / revenge precisely because they aren't thinking about it. Everything has political impact. Especially when you aren't thinking about it.

I do think about what I watch. But never in my entire life has a fictional action movie with lots of gunplay made me even consider picking up a gun myself. I pity those that are that easily influenced.

Not everything has to be politicized.

It is to the victims in Fort Hood, Columbine, and Parkland. But since it's not fantasy, I look forward to your reality-based evidence.
