Meaning there is nothing that Cruise is going to "wing" that day on set. They go through every possible issue and outcome. Especially with car safety.

All of this matters. There is no reason to push anyone into anything they're uncomfortable with when you have trained professionals for whom this is their literal job. Because all of this matters. The job is to keep people safe.

Also, Jackie Chan has broken literally every bone in his body through the course of his career and as much as you can respect his dedication, you can't expect people to go through that.

The thing that bugs me about Cruise is he does a couple takes and then a stunt man does like 50. Cruise is dope but hes not Jackie Chan.

I mean it's not like you get your "stunt PHD" or something, but the technical answer is absolutely. Largely through a career of dedication.
